TYLER JONES

ASSOCIATE VOICE TEACHER AND PROFESSIONAL ACTOR

Tyler Jones (he/him) is an actor and voice teacher who specializes in singing voice training for professional (and future-professional) singers of Musical Theatre and CCM styles. He is honored to be an associate of the wonderful Mike Ruckles. Tyler has a special interest in working with singers who have experienced voice injury, and is passionate about the current movement to “decatastrophize vocal injury”. Acting credits include THE BOOK OF MORMON, and, most recently, Apple TV’s “We Crashed”. Other credits: leading roles at TUTS; Broadway at Music Circus; Maltz-Jupiter; Long Wharf; Connecticut Rep. among others.

Education: BFA in Musical Theatre from University of Michigan. Tyler has also trained in methodologies such as Estill Voicework, Fitzmaurice, and Speech Level Singing. He recently earned the title of “Distinguished Voice Professional” from NYSTA’s Professional Development Program. Proud member of AEA, SAG-AFTRA, and NYSTA.
